Who We Are

Your Local After Hours Pet Emergency Center

Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service, PS is AAHA accredited and belongs to the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (iVECCS). Our animal hospital was established in the fall of 1996 by a group of local veterinarians who wished to provide 24-hour weekend coverage for their client's beloved pets. It has since grown into a 24/7 clinic offering high quality emergency care for companion animals and exotic pets in the Tri-Cities.

As an Emergency Health Care Provider, Pet Emergency Service serves three clients. The first is the animal that is in need of care, the second is the pet owner, and finally, the family veterinarian. The key to effective management of your pet's care is to have clients, veterinary specialists, and family veterinarians work as a team to resolve the problem and plan for continued care. Our goal is to provide the best possible care for your pet.

Upon discharge from Pet Emergency Service, we refer all of our patients back to their family veterinarian. On weekday mornings, if your pet requires additional care, we will help facilitate the transfer to your family veterinarian. Your pet's medical records will be forwarded to the clinic of your choice. If you do not already have a veterinarian, we can help you find one.

"Dr. Wilson & Staff working on Friday 4.25.14: We just wanted to thank you for your care to our little Lily and for your efforts, love and support during her last moments. We are so sad over her loss but know she is no longer in pain or afraid. P.S. This is what Lily looked like when she was healthy"
